Transparency International New Zealand was founded in 1999 with the objectives to:

• promote transparency, good governance and ethical practices in the private and public sectors in NZ
• promote ethical business practices by NZ businesses offshore, and transparency and good governance in our region
• contribute to the international effort to reduce corruption and promote good governance.

TI-NZ is politically non-partisan and does not undertake investigations of alleged corruption or expose individual cases either alone or in conjunction with other organisations.
