Drawing on a review of 40 public enforcement actions between 2021 and 2026, the report finds that apparent differences in transparency are often driven by the type of enforcement action taken rather than by the regulator itself. It concludes with practical recommendations to improve the accessibility, consistency and comparability of enforcement information, helping strengthen public accountability and confidence in financial regulation.
