On December 9th 2025, the world marks International Anti-Corruption Day (IACD). This year’s theme, “Uniting with Youth Against Corruption: Shaping Tomorrow’s Integrity”, highlights the vital role of young people in building fairer, more transparent societies.

However, overall the process of developing the NAP 5 by the PSC continues to tightly control civil participation. The OGP Participation and Co-Creation Standards encourage deeper levels of engagement than is evidenced in the New Zealand NAP5 development.
